ETRX2 Development kits provides genuinley easy, out-of-the-box construction of a working mesh network. Using the comprehensive AT  Command Dictionary and the easy-to-use Telegesis Terminal software package provided, it should take less than an hour to set up a three-way mesh network and begin detailed, in-depth assessment of ZigBee meshing technology.

Currently there are two development kits to choose from:

ETRX2DVKA

This kit is aimed at those wishing to discover and demonstrate to colleagues and clients how fast and simple a ZigBee wireless mesh network is to set up and control.

Telegesis ETRX2DVKA Development Kit includes:

• ETRXDV - Development Board

• ETRX2HW - Module with Harwin connector to plug onto ETRXDV

• 2 x MCB Carrier Board fitted with ETRX2 module 2 x AA Battery Holder with lead and USB Cable

Included in the kits are both a full Development Board and  Module Carrier Boards with the following features:-

• 2 LEDs
• 2 Buttons
• On board 3.3V Voltage regulator
• Supply Voltage 5-12Volts
• Beeper
• Light sensor
• Temperature sensor

These carrier boards allow the user to quickly experiment with sensors and actuators and are ideal for demonstrations and prototyping. They can either be mains or battery powered.

Telegesis ETRX2DVKA-Plus

The ETRX2DVKA-Plus is the same as the kit described above but also includes a ZigBee USB stick plus ETRX2-PA modules and an external 1/2 wave antenna to allow you to experiment with the increased range of the power amplified modules.

Kit  as per the ETRX2DVKA PLUS:-

• ETRX2USB - USB stick
• ETRX2HRHW-PA - Module with Harwin connector to plug onto ETRXDV and Hirose UF.L connector for external antenna
• MCB Carrier Board fitted with ETRX2-PA module
• AA Battery Holder with lead
• 1/2 Wave external antenna
• 100mm cable - connects HR module to antenna

Experiment using the power amplified ETRX2-PA modules with
their greatly extended range.
